Lemon

A lemon has antimicrobial properties in reducing acne and as an excellent exfoliant to reduce the appearance of scars. Mix equal amount of lime juice and water, and apply to skin with cotton ball, leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water. Do not apply it to the skin near your eyes.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is made by fermenting apple cider, or the unfiltered juice from pressed apples. It contains organic acids such as malic and lactic acid, may kill acne-causing bacteria and dry up the excess oil that causes acne. It even exfoliate the skin to reduce the red marks. Mix one part of apple vinegar and two parts water and apply to the skin with cotton ball, make sure to shake well before use, to avoid irritation

Citrus Fruits

Acidic foods like citrus fruit juice or vinegar are astringent and can flush pores and help dry out acne. Dab a little onto a cotton ball and gently swipe on the affected areas

Green tea

Green tea is very high in antioxidants, and drinking it can promote good health. Applying 2-3% green tea significantly reduces sebum production, fight inflammation and pimples in those with acne-prone skin. This is because the flavonoids and tannins in green tea are known to fight bacteria and reduce inflammation

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil has strong anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, help prevent acne and pimples. Tea tree oil is very potent, so it is better to dilute it; before applying to your skin. Mix 1 part tea tree oil with 9 parts water, apply with a cotton swab. Tea tree oil is an essential oil extracted from the leaves.

Turmeric

Turmeric ingredients has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties and a solid solution to get rid of acne at home. Mix a turmeric powder with coconut oil and apply directly onto the pimples over night and rinse it well with the water in the morning.

Egg Whites

Egg whites have been used as an quite effective home remedy for wrinkles and pimples. Add grated carrot in egg white and apply it to your face for at least 20 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. It’s better to add lime juice with egg in place of carrots; if you have oily skin.

Aloe

Aspirin
